Product Description
Aluminum-plastic composite materials uniquely blend metal and non-metal components, combining their optimal properties. They retain key characteristics of aluminum and polyethylene while overcoming their limitations, delivering superior performance: luxurious aesthetics, vibrant colors, weather resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, fire retardancy, moisture resistance, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and seismic resistance. Additional advantages include lightweight construction, ease of processing, and convenient transportation and installation.
Product Features
- Lightweight: Offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Under the same rigidity (E·J), the weight per unit area of aluminum composite panels is approximately 60% that of aluminum sheets and 30% that of steel sheets.
- Strong Adhesion: High 180° peel strength ensures the aluminum and plastic core do not delaminate during long-term use.
- Weather Resistance: Minimal color and gloss changes over prolonged outdoor exposure, with no coating detachment. Typical service life exceeds 20 years.
- Corrosion Resistance: Surface coatings exhibit strong adhesion, resisting acid (10% H2SO4), alkali (10% NaOH), and salt spray corrosion. PVDF fluorocarbon resin coatings are particularly robust.
- Wind Pressure Resistance: Meets national Grade A standards, suitable for high-rise exterior wall decoration.
- Flame Retardancy: Core layer consists of non-toxic polyethylene, sandwiched between non-combustible aluminum sheets.
Processing Performance
Our aluminum composite panels can be processed using standard woodworking and metalworking tools for cutting, sawing, milling, punching, pressing, folding, and bending, enabling precise execution of diverse architectural designs. Their versatility in creating arcs, reverse arcs, small-radius corners, and complex angles surpasses other decorative materials.
- Cutting: Tools include blades, electric saws, handsaws, and hole saws.
- Grooving: Processed with electric or portable grooving machines for manual bending into polyhedrons.
- Edge Trimming: Combined into enclosures after processing with punching or edge-trimming machines.
- Welding: Compatible with plastic welding rods and hot-air welding equipment.
- Corner Bending: Achieved via grooving machine processing.
- Folding: Processed using three-point or three-roller bending machines.
- Printing: Suitable for screen printing.
